The Startup Fair 2024, organised by the Entrepreneurship and Incubation Cell (EIC) of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), concluded with overwhelming success, showcasing the innovative spirit of young entrepreneurs and fostering invaluable connections between startups and participants.
Held on the 5th and 6th of October, the event attracted diverse individuals, bringing together 15 innovative startups from various sectors, including health, technology, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, and others. The event saw an impressive turnout of over 700 participants, predominantly students and aspiring entrepreneurs, eager to engage in discussions, evaluations, and interviews with startup representatives. These interactive activities provided participants with invaluable insights into startup operations and offered them a platform to explore potential career opportunities in the entrepreneurial world.
The event’s seamless execution and well-organized structure received widespread praise from the startups, thanks to the meticulous planning and efforts of the EIC team, under the guidance of Dr. Simranjit Singh and Dr. Sudesh Rani. Their leadership was instrumental in creating a dynamic environment for networking and collaboration, fostering innovation and entrepreneurial talent within PEC. The Startup Fair 2024 connected startups with young talent and reinforced PEC’s position as a key player in driving entrepreneurial growth in the region.
