Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Punjab Engineering College Old Student Association (PECOSA) to strengthen collaboration and foster mutual growth. The MoU was signed today in the presence of Prof. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia (Ad Interim Director, PEC), Registrar Col. R.M. Joshi, PECOSA President Er. Teekam Chandar Bali, Secretary Er. Harpreet Singh Oberoi, Prof. Rajesh Kanda (Head, Alumni, Corporate and International Relations), Dr. D.R. Prajapati (Dean Students Affairs), Dr. Jimmy Karloopia (Professor-In-Charge, Alumni, Corporate and International Relations), and Ms. Rajinder Kaur (Manager, ACIR). Along with this, Jorawer Singh (Treasurer), Col. Sandhu, Charanjit Lal, and Aabid Bains also graced the occasion with their auspicious presence.
Director of PEC, Prof. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia, highlighted that this MoU represents a significant step in strengthening the bond between PEC and its alumni community. He emphasized that this collaboration will enhance academic excellence and open new avenues of growth for students.
PECOSA President, Er. Teekam Chandar Bali, expressed his pride in the collaboration, noting that it marks a key moment for alumni as they contribute to PEC’s vision of academic distinction and help build stronger connections. Er. Harpreet Singh Oberoi, Secretary of PECOSA, added that PECOSA looks forward to working closely with PEC, sharing expertise, and providing resources to support the institute in achieving greater heights.
Prof. Rajesh Kanda, Head of Alumni, Corporate and International Relations, being an alumni of PEC himself, recognized the invaluable support and engagement of the alumni in nurturing student success and creating a vibrant academic community.
