PEC's SAASC Club Students Shine at CGC MUN Event

PEC's SAASC Club

A contingent of 7 delegates represented SAASC, PEC at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Model United Nations (MUN) competition from 20th-21st January 2024. The delegates represented a variety of portfolios in two committees namely; UNHRC & G20. Over the course of two days, many motions were pondered upon & diplomatic policies were discussed.

In the G20 committee, Avi Sinha (representing Amit Shah) of Mechanical 2nd Year was declared as the Best Delegate!!

It was a tremendous show in the UNHRC committee, with Vinayak Sahni (representing France) of ECE 4th Year being declared as the Best Delegate, Atinder Singh (representing South Africa) of Electrical 1st Year being awarded with the Honorable Mention, Yuvraj (representing Iran) of Mechanical 2nd Year & Jayant Jain (representing Vietnam) of CSE 1st Year receiving Verbal Mentions!!

As a whole, CGC MUN was a successful tournament for SAASC where students from 1st, 2nd & 4th year all attained recognitions & awards!!
