A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for future collaborations in academic and research practices was signed on the second day of the visit hosted by Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) Chandigarh for a delegation from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), Nagpur. The two-day visit was planned to study PEC's Best Practices in Research and Academics. The delegates during their stay interacted with the deans and heads of various departments and also visited the state-of-the-art research facilities which include the Semiconductor Research Centre, Centre of Excellence Siemens, Production and Industrial Engineering Department and Material and Metallurgical Engineering Department.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Baldev Setia, Director PEC, Chandigarh, and Rajesh Pande, Principal Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), Nagpur in the presence of deans and heads of several departments. The purpose is to promote academic and scientific interactions between the two institutions, as well as to provide long-term direction and assistance to RCOEM in establishing and strengthening its system.
