Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, is proud to announce yet another remarkable achievement by one of its students. Mr. Bhavtegh Singh Gill, a fourth-year Aerospace Engineering student, had won 3 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal as being the National Champion at the 67th National Shooting (Skeet Men) Championship-2024. The prestigious event was held from 11th December to 25th December 2024 at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, New Delhi.
Mr. Gill clinched two Gold Medals in the Senior Category (Individual and Team) and further showcased his exceptional skills in the Junior Category by winning a Silver Medal (Individual) and a Gold Medal (Team).
Earlier this year, Mr. Bhavtegh Singh Gill represented India on the global stage at the ISSF Junior World Championship held in Lima, Peru, from 27th September to 7th December 2024. Prior to this, he also competed at the ISSF Junior World Cup Shotgun in Porpetto, Italy, securing a Silver Medal in the Skeet Men Individual event. His relentless dedication and talent have also brought glory to Punjab Engineering College at the FISU World University Championship in November 2024, where he was crowned World University Champion.
The Director of PEC, Prof. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia, along with Dr. D.R. Prajapati (Dean of Student Affairs) and Dr. M.P.
