Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, witnessed an enchanting evening of lights, music, and joy as students celebrated Deepotsav 2025, one of the most anticipated cultural evenings leading up to PECFEST. This was celebrated under the aegis of Dr. D. R. Prajapati, Dean of Student Affairs (DSA).
The celebration began with students lighting hundreds of diyas arranged in the shape of “PECFEST,” symbolizing the unity, creativity, and enthusiasm that define the campus spirit. The radiant display illuminated the PEC Auditorium area, creating a mesmerizing start to the festive night. As the evening progressed, students gathered to release glowing Diwali sky lanterns, painting the night sky with warmth and hope. The sight of dozens of lanterns rising together reflected the collective dreams and aspirations of the PEC community.
The event culminated with an energetic DJ performance, where students danced, celebrated, and captured memories with friends — turning the campus into a vibrant hub of light, laughter, and togetherness.
