Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh is proud to share the remarkable achievement of Ms. Pranshi Arora, a B.Tech. student of Computer Science & Engineering, who has won the Gold Medal in the Women’s Foil Team Event while representing India at the Senior Commonwealth Fencing Championships 2026, held in Lagos, Nigeria.
Representing the Indian Senior Fencing Team, Pranshi competed in the Women’s Foil event and contributed to India’s outstanding performance, securing the prestigious Commonwealth Gold Medal for the country at this international championship.
Her achievement is a moment of immense pride for Institute, bringing laurels to both the institution and the nation. Balancing the demands of a rigorous engineering programme with the commitment required at the international level, Pranshi has demonstrated exceptional dedication, discipline and sporting excellence.
