To celebrate Productivity Week 2017, a poster making competition was organized by TQM and ZED centre of PEC University of Technology in association with National Productivity Council on February 15. The competition, graced by Regional Director of National Productivity Council Mr. G. Saravanan as the chief guest, was a resounding success with enthusiastic students from various age groups and streams collaborating and competing in a wonderful display of social awareness.
The theme for the contest was "From Waste to Profits through Reduce, Recycle and Reuse"and vibrant and varied entries were submitted by the contestants which made choosing the winning entry an unenviable task.
Mahima (1st Year Civil) and Supreet Kaur (M.tech TQM) were the winners of this competition. Following them were Kanishk Sood (MTech 1st Year Ind Design) and Mukesh Saini (MTech TQM). The second runner ups were Gurinder Singh (MTech 1st Year Ind Design) and Malvinder Singh (M.Tech Ind Design).
This exhibition of creativity and civic responsibility acted as proof of the well-rounded development of the young minds shaped by this reputed institute where technical knowledge is expanded beyond the pages of a textbook to provide the nation with a skilled workforce as well as conscientious citizens.
