During COVID_19 Second Wave; Dr. Gurjeet Singh along with my team members Yuvraj and Vishesh Kapoor; have decided to develop something unique as a payback to the society in this pandemic situation. Amongst several precautionary social norms pertaining to safety from COVID_19; the second most important is maintaining social distance after wearing mask. The idea of developing fully automatic road lane marking system was the outcome of the same as it can be used for the purpose of marking on horizontal surfaces in the form of strip, square, circle or of any other type as per the situation. The main objective of road lane marking system is to enhance road safety in addition to have several kinds of marking for various situations such as social distancing marks, marking of parking lines, airport runway marking and railway platform marking etc. In the present format, the main components of project are as follows:
- Body Frame
- Tyres
- 4 DC Motors and 01 Servo Motor
- Arduino
- PCB Plate
- 12 Volt Battery Backup
- High Quality Camera
- Spray Paint Pack
- Relay or Controller
Further, fully charged 12 volt battery pack; can cover a marking distance of 3 KM. Moreover, the same can be modified to have solar assisted battery backup system.
