Central Library PEC is subscribing to a number of online databases for the benefit of its students and faculty. But sometimes precious time of the users' is spent in clicking the mouse umpteen times in accessing full text of e-resources from different platforms. This time could be saved if all the e-resources from diverse platforms are made available in the form of one-stop-search facility to satisfy information needs of the users. One such platform is EBSCO Discovery Service and access for the same has been activated through TEQIP-II.
Central Library PEC conducted a training session for Single Search Window (EBSCO Discovery Service) for PEC University on Thursday 18th May, 2017 at 11.00 am in the Conference Hall of New Academic Block. More than 35 PhD Scholars and Faculty members attended the same. Mr. Ritesh Kumar, Senior Training Specialist from EBSCO Information Services conducted the training session which provided the ideal opportunity to discover (or re-discover) platform features and functionality; learn new tips and tricks to improve their research skills.
