PEC University of Technology has Celebrated 3rd International Day of Yoga on 21st June, 2017.
An hour- long programme was held at PEC University of Technology, in front of the Auditorium inaugurated by Dean Students Affairs. In all, over 60 people including Students and Staff took part with great enthusiasm in the celebration of International Day of Yoga. Common Protocol of Yoga (45 Mint. Session) was started at 7:00 am, there were 4 Calana Kriyas, 20 Yogic asanas such as Tadasana, Vrikasana, Padhastasana, Vajrasana, Bhujangasana, Pawanmuktasana, Shavasana etc. and others followed by breathing exercises like Kapalbhatti and 3 different pranayama and short meditation session.
Yoga Coach said that a regular practice offers all kinds of mental and physical health benefits. Some, like improved flexibility, are clearly evident. Others, including mental clarity and stress reduction, may be more subtle but are just as powerful.
