The Student Counselling Cell of Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Sector 12, Chandigarh, successfully organized a workshop on “Managing Exam Stress” for college students on campus today. The session aimed at equipping students with practical strategies to cope with academic pressure and maintain mental well-being during examinations.
The event was organised under the guidance of Dr. D.R. Prajapati (Dean Student Affairs). The workshop was conducted by Ms. Deepti Kapila, who shared effective techniques to reduce stress and anxiety. Through interactive activities and insightful discussions, she guided students on methods such as relaxation exercises, time management, and positive thinking to handle exam-related challenges.
The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Sulata Bhandari, (Professor In-charge of the Student Counselling Cell), Mr. Naveen Kumar (Student Counselor) and Ms. Tanvi Sharma (Student Counselor). They emphasized the importance of mental health awareness and encouraged students to seek support when needed.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who found the session highly beneficial and engaging. The initiative reflects PEC’s continued commitment to fostering a supportive and healthy academic environment for its students.
