To mark the Vigilance Awareness Week - 2023, Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University, Chandigarh) took the Integrity Pledge - 2023 today on 30th October, 2023. This pledge was taken by Prof. Baldev Setia, Director, PEC; along with Dr. Siby John Deputy Director,; Col. R.M. Joshi, Registrar; Dr. D.R. Prajapati (Dean Student Affairs) and all faculty members of PEC.
This year 2023 Vigilance Awareness Week is based on the theme of ''Say No to Corruption; Commit to The Nation''. This week will be observed from October 30th to November 5th, 2023. To protect whistleblowers or persons taking initiatives to bring to the notice of pertinent authority about the unethical or unfair practices, a Resolution was passed by the Govt. of India in 2004 (PIDPI).
In order to be vigilant and committed to the highest standards of honesty and integrity, this pledge was taken by all the faculty members of PEC. At last Prof. Balwinder Singh, provided a vote of thanks to all the staff members for joining in this fight against corruption.
