Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, today hosted an event titled "PRAN," organized by the Career Development and Guidance Centre , which aimed to help aspirants prepare for the UPSC-Civil Services Examination. The event was a resounding success, with a huge number of students attending it. The event aimed to provide a platform for aspirants of UPSC to interact with experts and alumni from the field of civil services so as to get necessary tools and guidance to help them prepare for this highly competitive exam.
The event commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by a group of dignitaries including IPS Kanwardeep Kaur, SSP, Chandigarh who graced the inaugural ceremony of the event as the chief guest, Prof. Baldev Setia, Director PEC , Registrar, PEC and the deans.
Dr. Poonam Saini, Prof. In-charge, CDGC formally welcomed all the dignitaries present on the dais and the UPSC aspirants present for the event. Prof. Dr. Baldev Setia briefed about the importance of such event and congratulated the entire CDGC family for taking such an initiative for motivating young aspirants of UPSC
Eminent alumni of PEC, IPS Kanwardeep Kaur, SSP, Chandigarh shared her experiences and insights on how to crack the exam successfully. The event consisted of various guest lectures, which provided aspirants with practical knowledge and strategies to help them prepare for the exam.
The event saw a large turnout, with a huge number of students attending it. The students felt motivated after the sessions, and shared positive feedback.
In the end, Dr. Sudesh Rani, faculty coordinator, CDGC offered a vote of thanks and thanked all the invited guests, faculty members, student support committee and participants for gracing the occasion with their solemn presence.
