Punjab Engineering College (PEC) hosted a delegation on 19th November 2024, comprising Mr. Golan Kalimi, Vice President of Meprolight Ltd., Mr. Shikar Gupta, AVP Business Development of RRP S4E Innovations Pvt. Ltd., and Colonel Rajeev Kukkal(R) . The delegates were formally welcomed by Prof. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia, Director of PEC, along with senior faculty members Prof. Rakesh Kumar, Prof. Sanjiv Kumar, Dr. Poonam Saini, Dr. Manish Kumar, and Dr. Kamal Kumar.

Mr. Kalimi, representing Meprolight—a leading Israeli electro-optics company under the SK Group with a legacy of innovation in systems for armed forces, law enforcement, and civilian applications—expressed keen interest in PEC’s research initiatives and student capabilities.

The dignitaries lauded the innovative skills demonstrated by PEC students and discussed potential collaborations, including internship programs and research-driven placement opportunities.
