The Office of Dean Student Affairs at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, organized a special expert talk titled "Digital Revolution" in celebration of Engineer's Day 2024. The session focused on how AI, communications, and robotics are shaping the future, aligning with the theme of honoring the dynamic and impactful profession of engineering.
The event featured distinguished keynote speakers, including Dr. Neha Sardana (IIT Ropar) and Er. Deepak Garg (Founder & CEO, INNOW8), along with esteemed faculty members Dr. D.R. Prajapati, Prof. Neena Gupta, Dr. Puneet Chawla (ADSA), Dr. Jyoti Kedia, and Dr. Satinder Singh Mohar, as well as the other faculty of the various Department.
Dr. Neha Sardana, the keynote speaker, opened her talk with a fascinating discussion on Nanoantennas and the digital revolution. She delved into topics such as metamaterials, solar cells, and the evolution of digital technologies over the years. She also offered a glimpse into the future of communications, which she believes will be driven by quantum advancements and innovations in nanotechnology. While optimistic, she cautioned that the future holds both exciting and daunting possibilities.
The second speaker, Er. Deepak Garg, shared his entrepreneurial journey as the founder and CEO of INNOW8. He provided insights into the fields of communications, IoT, interactive AI, and robotics, inspiring students with his experience and vision for the future of AI and innovation.
The event concluded on a high note with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sattinder Singh who expressed his gratitude to both the speakers and the audience for their participation.
