An array of sessions was witnessed on the third and final day of Pre-Placement Training 2024 conducted by CDGC from 16th to 18thMarch. Mr. Vishal Sachdeva (CEO, STGI) delivered the initial session of the day. During his leadership talk, he encouraged students to focus on building a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in their chosen fields and to be open to new opportunities and challenges. He highlighted the importance of effective decision-making and the need to have a clear sense of direction.
The second session was taken by Anoop Ohri (Management Faculty, HitBullsEye) where he addressed the students on “Consulting”. He delivered practical strategies and expert guidance tailored to address specific challenges or opportunities faced in a dynamic business environment.
The third session was conducted by Naveen Kumar (Student Counsellor, PEC). He shared his valuable insights about how failure is not permanent and it can serve as a powerful source of inspiration and motivation. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of managing rejections effectively and cultivating a strong sense of self-love. After that, Sweta Mittal (Freelance Resume Writer, Resume Specialist) delivered a session on “Resume Building and Interview Preparation”. She shared practical strategies and tips to craft dynamic and compelling resumes and navigate interviews with confidence.
The final session was conducted by Dr. Sneha Sharma (Career Spotlight Coach, LinkedIn Branding Expert) where she guided students regarding “LinkedIn Branding”. She provided valuable insights and techniques on how to make a LinkedIn profile more appealing. The session equipped students with the tools and knowledge to optimize their LinkedIn profiles.
The entire organizing student committee was felicitated with certificates for their hard work, efforts and dedication for the successful completion of the event. Pre Placement Training 2024 provided the students with valuable knowledge on career opportunities and strategies to succeed in future endeavours. The students felt motivated and found the training to be extremely helpful and inspiring. The three-day event ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Poonam Saini, Prof. In-charge, CDGC who expressed gratitude to all the organizing faculty, staff and student members for pulling off a successful event.
