Association of Computing and Machinery (ACM) Society, Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, conducted a hackathon “Code Blooded 3.0” sponsored by Summit Technology Group from 17th- 18th September in the campus. The event started on 17th September 2022 and saw great participation of students Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Chandigarh University, University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) and others. As a part of the event the participants have been given problem statements based on Machine learning, OCR based App, development of web App and cloud engineering.
The event concluded on 18th September 2022 with a welcome note by Dr Padmavati and a brief about the hackathon by Dr. Puneet Chawla, Associate Dean of Student Affairs. Prof. D R Prajapati, Dean of Student Affairs, Chief Guest of the event graced the occasion with his presence and addressed all the participants. He also congratulated students for taking up the challenge and participating in a 24 hours hackathon. Prof. D.R Prajapati and delegates from Summit Technology Group (STG) announced the results. The first prize, which included a cash prize of INR 50k was bagged by Team Mystic. The second and third prizes were composed of INR 30k and INR 15k and were bagged by Team Mad Hap and Team Blank. There were also 6 honorary team mentions who have been awarded INR 5k each. The event concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Dhruv Kauts, Secretary of ACM.
