A felicitation ceremony was held for the donors where their contribution was acknowledged. The 'Star Donors' i.e. the people who have donated blood at least four times in the past were presented with a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution in this noble task. Also, the first 80 donors were rewarded with a small gesture of appreciation.
This move serves as a motivating factor for the donors; encouraging them to actively participate in Blood Donation Camps in the future. The Chief Guest was presented with a token of gratitude. The students, as was previously, were given donor cards that would help them in future to obtain blood in times of need.
