The Centre of Total Quality Management (Centre of TQM), PEC University of Technology organized a 5-day ZED Master Trainer Training (MTT) Program from 21st March to 25th March 2017. 22 professionals from various organizations participated in the program. The program was conducted by trainers from Quality Council of India.
The training programs are one of the most important components of the ZED scheme, for which QCI has been nominated as the National Monitoring and Implementation Unit (NMIU), as the ZED Master Trainers, Assessors and Consultants will play a pivotal role in ZED assessment and certification, consultancy to MSMEs for their graduation to higher levels. The program was to train the participants on ZED Maturity Model, Assessment process, Consulting Process and the Training skills using case studies and interactive group exercises.
Director PEC, Prof Manoj K. Arora and Registrar Mr. Manish Jindal interacted with the participants for their feedback and the initiatives in the pipe line with QCI which this Centre of TQM will drive. Both PEC and QCI has an MoU to support each other's endeavours in delivering programs and research activities particularly in the areas of quality management standards and application of statistical quality tools and enabling the industry to improve competitiveness.
The participants very much appreciated the structure of the program as well as the hospitality of PEC.
