Salary, Qualifications and other details

1. Salaries:
   Salaries of medical officers will be fixed as per the CCS rules vide letter No. F.No.-3-25/2020-E IIIA dated 09.12.2020, adopted by Chandigarh Administration as follows:
   1. In case of re-employment: A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of contract. There will be no annual increment/ percentage increase during the contract period vide office memorandum bearing No.3-25/2020-E/III of GoI, Ministry of Finance, DOE dated 09.12.2020 duly adopted by the Chandigarh Administration vide letter dated 30.06.2022.
   2. In case of contractual appointment for fresh candidate with MBBS degree: the salary will be given as per as Junior Resident Doctors with basic pay of Rs. 56,100/- + allowances as mentioned in the schedule (part A of central pay matrix at level 10) of C.C.S. vide order No. GMCH/EA-1/2026/1203-1215 dated 09.01.2026.
2. Age Limit: Not exceeding 62 years (as on the date of advertisement).
3. Qualification & experience: MBBS degree and must have at least 05 years of experience as general physician.
4. Job description: The medical officer would render medical services to the students, staff and faculty at the institute.
5. Job timings: Six days in a week and 8 hrs/ day

In case of emergency, the doctor will be available for on-line consultation or physical visit as per the requirement.
