Walk-in-interview is scheduled to engage 02 Nos. of medical officers (Male & Female) on contract basis on 02.04.2025 at 3:00 PM in DSA office. Interested applicants may send their applications in DSA office (retired doctors can also apply) by 01.04.2025 till 5:00 PM.

Salary, Qualifications and other details are as under:

• Salaries:
  Salaries of medical officers will be fixed as per the CCS rules vide letter No. F.No.- 3-25/2020-E IIIA dated 09.12.2020, adopted by Chandigarh Administration as follows: 

1. In case of re-employment: A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged for the term of contract. There will be no annual increment/ percentage increase during the contract period vide office memorandum bearing No.3- 25/2020-E/III of GoI, Ministry of Finance, DOE dated 09.12.2020 duly adopted by the Chandigarh Administration vide letter dated 30.06.2022 . 
2. In case of contractual appointment for fresh candidate: the salary will be given as per DC Rate, UT, Chandigarh vide order dated 01.11.2024 effective from 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2025 & onwards will be applicable.

• Age Limit: Not exceeding 62 years (as on the date of advertisement). 
• Qualification & experience: MBBS degree and must have at least 05 years of experience as general physician. 
• Job description: The medical officer would render medical services to the students, staff and faculty at the institute.
• Job timings: Six days in a week and 8 hrs/ day In case of emergency, the doctor will be available for on-line consultation or physical visit as per the requirement
