Walk in interview for the post of Guest Faculty/Temporary Faculty for the semester 2022-23(1) i.e. August 2022 to December 2022

WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF GUEST FACULTY/TEMPORARY FACULTY

I. The Institute intends to hold a Walk-in-interview to select eligible candidates for the post of Guest Faculty/Temporary Faculty in the following departments/Centres for the semester 2022-23(1) i.e. August 2022 to December 2022 in the Board Room adjacent to Director’s office as per schedule below:-

Note: The reporting time for interview is from 9.00 am to 9.30 am. No candidates will be entertained after reporting time.

 

II. Essential Qualification for Guest Faculty and Temporary Faculty: First class Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree with PhD completed/thesis submitted in the relevant discipline.

III. Honorarium to Guest Faculty- Maximum emoluments of Rs. 50,000/- per month @ Rs. 1500/- Lecture (per hour) and Rs. 750/-Tutorial/Practical (per hour)

IV. Consolidated Salary to Temporary Faculty (completed PhD): Rs. 73,500/- per month

V. Consolidated Salary to Temporary Faculty (Thesis submitted): Rs. 67,500/- per month

VI. Process to apply:

  1. Faculty may apply as per specializations attached at Annexure-I.
  2. Candidates are required to apply through GOOGLE FORM https://forms.gle/tnmHBFCMAbPqT3By8 only by 17.07.2022 upto 5:00 PM.
  3. Outstation candidates staying within 500 kms distance will appear offline for the interview as per above mentioned schedule and bring the hard copy of filled Google Form along with all relevant original documents with an attested photo copy of each document.
  4. Outstation candidates staying beyond 500 kms distance can appear online for the interview. They will send self attested copies of all relevant original documents to dfa@pec.edu.in by 17.07.2022 upto 5:00 PM.
  5. No TA/DA would be provided for attending interview.
  6. The candidates not fulfilling eligibility criteria wouldn’t be considered for selection process.
  7. Candidates should take utmost care while filling the GOOGLE FORM. They can edit the information before submission. Once the form is submitted, it can’t be edited.

VII. General information:

  1. The Guest Faculty and Temporary Faculty shall perform all academic assignments including lectures, practicals, tutorials, paper checking, grading, examination duties and other responsibilities assigned by the respective HoD.
  2. Number of posts are advertised as per academic load in various departments and can vary from time to time.
