Promoting Undergraduate Research | Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh

Aims to increase the culture of research among the undergraduates.
Funding for research to be offered under alumni funded endowment program
Support upto ₹ 25000/- for 1 Credit Projects and ₹ 50000/- for the 2 credit projects
Student eligibility - having completed first four semesters
Team comprising at least 2 students from same or different departments
Faculty supervised proposals to be submitted by students
Proposals to be submitted 30 days prior to the beginning of the 5th semester and can also be done as minor projects.
Successful projects may culminate as B. Tech. Capstone Projects at the end of the 7th/8th semester.
Funding will be available upto a maximum of 10 proposals in FY 2020 - 2021
Named Grant Scheme if Contribution is equal to or above 10 lakhs
