Punjab Engineering College, Department of Production & Industrial Engineering proposes to host the International Conference on Industrial and Manufacturing Systems (CIMS-2021). CIMS-2021 will provide a forum for researchers from academia and industries for providing excellent opportunity to explore the role of smart technologies in the area of Manufacturing, Industrial, Design, Thermal and other areas related to production and industrial engineering from the participants from all over world. The purpose of this conference is to present and discuss existing technological knowledge, share information in the relevant areas that could lead to future developments. The conference will provide an opportunity to present and observe the latest research results, ideas, developments and applications in the areas of Production and Industrial Engineering. It will also provide opportunities to students to meet experienced peers.

Participation

The aim of this conference is to provide an interdisciplinary platform for managers, engineers, researchers and students to discuss and promote early dissemination of research results and technology transfer in the areas of Production and Industrial. Industries, R & D establishments, academic institutions are invited to participate in the conference by presenting papers and sending delegates.

Modes of participation in CIMS-2021:-

  1. Registered participant: by filling out the registration form and paying the appropriate registration fees. Registration benefits include the conference technical material, tea/coffee, snacks and lunch.
  2. Exhibitor: by booking an exhibition stall for the two days of the conference. Two company representatives will be provided free lunch coupons (only) during the conference, in addition to the exhibition stall.
  3. Sponsor: by sponsoring the conference sponsors are entitled for free registration up to four delegates for the conference with full benefits. In addition, sponsor names, banners and logos would be displayed at the backdrop and on souvenir.

Sponsors will be provided opportunity for extensive publicity, promotions, and display material.


Call for Papers

The participants willing to present their research papers in the CIMS-2021 are requested to submit the full length paper on or before 25th September, 2021 through online portal easychair, not exceeding 6 pages. A technical review committee will assess the paper. The authors will be intimated about the acceptance and presentation of their paper on or before the 30th September, 2021.

  • Selected Papers of the CIMS-2021 will be considered for publication in the special issues of Scopus Indexed Journals/Book Chapters in Scopus Indexed Series by reputed publishers like Springer/ Taylor & Francis (CRC-Press)/Wiley.
  • The paper sent to the journal/book series should be the broadly extended version of paper presented at CIMS-2021.

Instructions to Authors for Paper Submission

  • Authors from India and abroad are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the conference.
  • Submissions must include title, abstract, author affiliation with email address and keywords.
  • Paper should be submitted as per template which is available on conference webpage.
  • Posters are intended for ongoing research projects, concrete realizations, or industrial applications.
  • The paper length should not exceed 6 pages.
  • Papers having more than 20% plagiarism score will be examined and those that are deemed unacceptable will be rejected/withdrawn without a formal review.

Glimpse & Success Story of CIMS-2020

CIMS is now one-year young International Conference. Previous CIMS-2020 was successfully organised at Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. The number of research papers submitted were 523 out of which 411 were accepted based on peer-review process. C. Terms, conditions and other information

  1. Available stall size is 4x3 sq. m. More than one stall can be demanded.

  2. Depending upon number of stalls, total amount should be paid in advance, latest by 30th August 2021.

  3. D.D. should be of any nationalized bank, and drawn in favor of  , payable at SBI branch (code   ), Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh .

  4. Exit passes for taking out goods, after end of Conference, will be issued only if there are no dues of payment.

  5. Minimum facilities provided in stall to sponsor will include table, two chairs, lighting, 5A socket point, and one waste paper box.

Accomodation

Accommodation for pre-registered delegates can be arranged in campus (guest house or hostel) / hotel on request. The delegates will have to bear the expenses.
