PolyJet 3D printing is similar to inkjet printing, but instead of jetting drops of ink onto paper, PolyJet 3D Printers jet layers of curable liquid photopolymer onto a build tray. PolyJet 3D Printing technology offers many advantages for rapid tooling and prototyping, and even production parts including astonishingly fine detail, smooth surfaces, speed and precision.

3D scanner is used in development, quality assurance and production to reduce time and cost of building of 3D models. Main applications are 3D inspection, reverse engineering and rapid manufacturing.

3D scanning system consists of two types of 3D scanning heads:-

  1. Atos core 45 mm
  2. Atos core 300 mm
    Accuracy- 5 microns

Measuring area of Atos core 45 (5m) and Atos core 300 (5m) are 45 x 30 mm and 300 x 230 mm respectively

The instrument is able to measure the magnetoelectric coupling coefficient in DC and AC bias mode. The conductive samples of bulk and thin films could be used to measure in transverse and longitudinal mode. This setup has HIOKI LCR meter which could use to measure the magneto-dielectric coupling in DC bias mode at frequency range 100HZ to 1 MHz.

The instrument is used to measure dielectric measurements characteristics of the ceramic pellets and thin films. Frequency range: 20Hz to 20MHz, Temperature range: (RT–650°C). The instrument is able to measure parameters such as impedance (|Z|), complex Z, phase angle (θ), capacitance (C), loss (D), admittance (|Y|), complex Y in different linear and logarithmic frequency sweep with basic impedance measurement accuracy of ±0.08%.
