GE (Energy Consulting) Industry Conducts an Audit Course

GE (Energy Consulting) Industry conducted an Audit Course  on “Emerging Trends in Power Industry”  focussing  on special related topics. The course was organised by  Electrical Engineering Department  for 1st Year M.Tech (Elect.) & 4th  year B. Tech(Elect.) students  from 19th  April -21st  April, 2017 .

The course was instructed by Dr Ravi Segal , Business Leader - Energy Consulting, India, ASEAN & China  and an alumnus  of PEC University. The course encompassed the prevalent India Power Market   scenario, Grid operation, Renewable integration and Grid scale Energy storage        

Dr  Tarlochan Kaur, HOD of  Electrical Department, felicitated Dr Ravi Segal  for the highly informative and rigorous course.   She said that  matching the  courses with the needs of  industry   is need of the hour and that, a beginning has been made for  implementing more industry specific programmes in future.

98th Foundation Day

PEC has completed 98 wonderful years since it’s foundation in 1921. A celebratory event was organized to mark the foundation of the college. The Chief Guest for the event was Director, PEC, Prof. Dheeraj Sanghi.
