On 21st June 2021, Dr. Khusboo Rakha, Assistant Professor, IIT Ropar & her team have visited the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Siemens PEC. Recently, Dr. Rakha has developed ‘Jivan Vayu’ device in collaboration with CoE Siemens PEC. Dr. Suresh Chand, Faculty in-charge of Rapid Prototyping Lab, and Mr. Amninder Singh, Centre Manager of CoE Siemens have accompanied her in a visit to the CoE Labs. During the visit, she has appreciated the CoE infrastructure & Lab trainers. She also has shown interest to take benefit of state of art technologies available in Siemens CoE-PEC for other projects.
On 9th June 2021, Mr. Vijay Namdeorao Zade IAS, Finance Secretary UT Administration Chandigarh visited CoE- Siemens PEC. He was accompanied by Prof. Siby John Director (Ad-Interim)PEC and Mr. Sudhir Parashar DC F&A-PEC. Prof. R.M. Belokar CoE Program Director, PEC highlighted the strengths and briefly explained the facilities, capabilities available at CoE. Dr. Vijay N. Zade IAS appreciated the efforts made by PEC in establishing this CoE.
