The Training and Placement Officer,s Message

Training and placement office is a meeting ground fro world class PEC students and the transnational corporate hr executives. PEC is proud of its students who have been serving the nation in various capacities ranging from CEOs, Chief Secretaries, Industrialists, Human Right Activists, and Entrepreneurs to Astronauts.
I take pride in introducing the first batch of Deemed University when PEC started following IIT practices.
Laptops were introduced, for making students technology savvy. Major changes in curriculum were made, subjects like introduction to engineering design, Mechatronics were accepted by AICTE as model curricula recommending for all the engineering institutes to be adopted.
From this batch 180 students have undergone one semester training at various national and transnational companies to have a feel of the coming challenges at work place in a fast changing world.
Enabling environment was made for them having choices of more than 30 cultural clubs and technical societies to develop them as creators, performers, problem solver.
I am confident that these students will make their mark wherever they go and let their alma mater feel proud of them.
To coordinate the activities of placement committee of student’s representatives of various disciplines has been constituted. I wish them all success.
