Sportsperson’ for B.E. batch 2008-2012.
It is in continuation to this office notice No.PEC/SD/1453 dated 27.04.2012 on the subject cited above.
The last date for receipt of applications is hereby extended upto
31.05.2012 for the award of ‘Advisor’s Gold Medal for Best Sportsperson’ for B.E. batch 2008-2012 to be awarded to the Best Sportsperson of this institute during PEC Annual
Convocation.
All the interested students of this institute may submit their applications
on the prescribed form (available in Sports Office) listing all the Sports Achievements
(year-wise) alongwith self-attested photocopies of all documents (year-wise) during their
stay in this institute, in the Department of Physical Education & Sports, PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh on or before 31.05.2012 positively for enabling this office to process the case. Applications received without documents or late will not be considered.
This may be treated as most urgent.

Eligibility criterion and the rules for the award of the medal are displayed on the PEC website.

Notice
Ms. Charu Puri award for excellence in clubs/cultural activities for the session 2011-12
Applications are hereby invited from the members of the various club members for Ms. Charu Puri award for excellence in club/cultural activities from final year students. The interested club members having CGPA 7.0 or above till the end of 3rd year (include summer term) can submit their application to the office of undersigned latest by 30th April 2012 positively duly recommended by the concerned club O/I.
The application must consist the following self attested documents/information:
- Detailed grade sheet up to six semesters including summer term.
- Certificate of recognition/award received in the college and outside the college in various club and cultural activities.
- Certificate of laurel brought by him/her from outside participants through the college club and cultural activities.
Late received and incomplete application shall not be entertained by the office.

Club Secretaries and Joint Club Secretaries for the session 2012-13.
All O/Is of the club are requested to recommend the name of Club Secretaries and Joint Club Secretaries under their supervision for the session 2012-13 from the present third year students.
The club members are required to submit an application in this regard to concerned O/Is. The applications must highlight his/her achievements along with the self attested documents and their contacts details of the applicant.
The recommendation of the concerned O/I must reach to the office of undersigned by 30th April-2012 positively along with the student application.

Institute Color, Certificate of Excellence, Certificate of Appreciation for the session 2011-12
The annual honor ceremony is likely to be held in the last week of April/first week of May-2012. The above officials are hereby requested to kindly forward and recommend the name of students to receive the Institute Color, Certificate of Excellence and Certificate of Appreciation in form A along with Form B/Form C/Form D (both soft & hard form). The guidelines for the honors, approved by Director, PEC University of Technology along with forms are available on the Institute Website.
All the concerned students are hereby required to apply for the above, along with details (SID, name, father’s name, branch, year and photocopies of the certificate of achievements, in Form A (both soft and hard form) to their respective faculty in-charge (as the case may be) so that the same may be transmitted to the DSW Office along with Form B/Form C/ Form D latest by 30th April-2012 (up to 1 PM).
Late received and incomplete applications shall not be entertained by the office.
