Robotics Club
ROBOTICS club being among one of the most active clubs of the college, is a place for all the so called "techno-freak" students of the college, who are interested in designing and making the robots on their own. The club provides a strong platform for the engineering students to practically implement their innovative ideas in building the bots for different applications. They possess a huge database of knowledge as well as tools needed for this purpose. The club has its own workplace inside the campus where all the members can jointly work on projects. Moreover the club has recently launched its website www.roboticspec.com where all the updates regarding the club activities are being regularly done.
Events planned for session 2008-09
- Partcipation in Robotics events of NSIT and Thapar technical fest from 16-18 oct 2008 .
- Line follower robotics hands on workshop before PECFest 2008.
- A semester project on Vision robotics.
- Organizing two robotics events in PECFEST – (Mind Racer, Diseno-de-Victor & Golemo Quakes)
- Participation in IIT KGP and IIT MUMBAI technical fest in January 2009.
- Organizing Robotics events in PEC technical fest 2009.
- Information sharing meeting in next semester.
