Music Club
"Were it not for music, we might in these days say, the Beautiful is dead."
Aiming at fostering an appreciation and learning of music among the students, the Music Club tunes the tones round the year. Apart from regular music workshops and weekly Music get-together evening, the Music Club hosts events/Music shows wherein the performers showcase their musical talent to audiences comprising the students as well as professors of the college. Music Club is also one of the leading cultural organizers at the PecFest, the annual fest of the college, conducting Crotchet, Antakshari and the big Rock Night Concert. While Crotchet hunts the best of musical talent in vivid categories (Hindi, Western, Punjabi, Group and Band performances), Antakshari offers a fun-filled setting for the music lovers. But the biggest of all is TNT-the Rock Night, conducted as one of the three Night shows at the PECFest, and we see here the top bands from across the country setting the raging crowds ablaze.
All in all, be it any genre of music- classic, or hip-hop, yesterday's melodies, or today's burning rock, the Music Club has something for all. Truly, if something that takes you closer to heaven other than death, it is Music.
