Institute of Electrical Engineers

The Institution of Electrical Engineers is the largest professional engineering society in Europe and has a worldwide membership of just under 140,000. Founded in 1871, it's members are from students to the most distinguished and highly qualified members of the profession.

IEE ,The PEC Chapter

The students were most fortunate to witnessed the establishment of the PEC chapter of IEE(Institute of Electrical Engineers) UK,under the able guidance of Dr. Hans Raj Seedher , Student Counselor in the current year 2000 .The PEC chapter in its very first session has 38 student members to its credit. The students and faculty members who have joined together to promote the advancement of electrical, electronic and manufacturing science and engineering are working together to make this dream as bigger a success as ,the PEC chapter of IEEE has been in the college for the last 3 years.

Inspite of a sudden jump in the subscription rate from 2 Sterling Pounds to 10 Sterling Pounds, 34 students paid there subscription during 2003. Executive Committee consisting of Mr. Sudhanshu Duggal as chairman, Mr. Sushant arol as Vice Chairman, Mr. Samit Khanna as Honorary Secretary, Mr. Rahul Gaur as Honorary Treasurer and six executive members viz Mr. Rahul Kumar Kandoi, Mr. Yash Mittal, Mr. Aseem Sharma, Mr. Hitesh Bansal. Mr. Navneet S. Chahal, and Mr. Pawan K. Goyal, has been helping in plannning and executing its technical activities.
All the members have already been benefited from the the publications of this prestigious institute on various topics of information and technology viz. ..
