GLANCE at N.C.C. (2007 – 2008)

The extended Platoon of 2 Chd BN NCC at Punjab Engineering College has strength of Fifty Four cadets. During the two previous NCC camps, four +  two cadets attended them respectively. The cadets were addressed by Mohinder Rajput, on having secured admission at elite Harvard Business School, who talked to the cadets about the tactics to success. The cadets have been trained on firing using 0.22 inch, 7.62 mm and LMG weapons. Since the unit is presently led by Colonel Vikram Dutta, who being an acclaimed shooter himself, and an accrdited trainer has been responsible for providing training to cadets to compete at national level. Also, the article on basics of shooting titled ‘Process Approach in Shooting’ posted by Institute Coy commander Maj P Thareja was translated in German, French and Swedish etc languages.
