Applications are invited from candidates possessing the below mentioned qualifications and experience. Candidates should bring along with them application with complete biodata as per the prescribed format, attested copies of mark sheets/certificates and Experience certificates of the candidates addressed to Director, PEC with recent passport size photographs.
Following fellowships are available for a period of 18months to work in a project funded by DIT, Ministry of Communications & IT, Government of India in the area of Security in Cloud Computing.

Category /Job title : Research Associates
Entitlements: Rs 25,000 Per month (Consolidated)
Age and Essential Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech followed by M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication or Information Technology. Proficiency in areas of Information security protocols, cryptography, network design and management, perimeter security is must.
Desired Qualification & Experience: Two years of research experience in Information security related fields in an industry or a research institute will be beneficial.
Job specifications/ Responsibilities: Assist Principal Investigator in planning, organizing, supervising, and/or performing the work of a professional Research Associate staff engaged in a specialized phase of the research project.
Category /Job title : Project Associates
Entitlements: Rs 18,000 Per month (Consolidated)
Age and Essential Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech Computer Science, Electronics & Communication or Information Technology. Proficiency in areas of Information security protocols, cryptography, network design and management, perimeter security is must.
Desired Qualification & Experience: Experience in Information security related fields in an industry or a research institute will be beneficial.
Job specifications/ Responsibilities: Perform experimental work and assist Project Investigators in various phases of the research project.
Category /Job title : Assistant Technician
Entitlements: Rs 8000/- Per month (Consolidated)
Age and Essential Qualifications: Diploma in Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication with proficiency in maintenance of radio equipment and network.
Job specifications/ Responsibilities:
1. Repair and Maintenance of Computer and other Engineering equipment and also the wireless equipments.
2. Liaison with staff on use of technical equipment and troubleshooting.
3. Installation of Information systems/Information Technology equipment.
4. Software installations and basic computer maintenance.

- Minimum requirements of qualifications and/or experience can be relaxed in respect of outstanding candidates.
