Orientation Programme 2017: Day 4

The four day long Under Graduate Orientation Programme concluded on 4th August, 2017. The prime focus of the concluding day was on exposing the children to different cultural and technical societies, their functioning, the events organized under these clubs and what opportunities they provide to their dedicated members.

The day commenced with an inspirational session by Ms. Shilpa Mahana, CEO, EVOXYZ Technology Pvt. Ltd, where she discussed the future and opportunities of being an entrepreneur. Her words filled the students with a sense of empowerment and will to take up whatever career they have ever dreamt of.

The next section introduced the freshmen to various technical societies such as IEEE, ASCE and SAE by student heads and secretaries through detailed presentations. The history of innovation, invention and participation in various renowned technical fests and competitions by the members of these societies throughout the country further fanned the flames of creativity within the new batch. This was followed by the presentations of the various cultural societies such as SAASC, Dramatics club and Music club which filled the whole audience with great fervor and enthusiasm. Finally, the students began their journey as undergrads with the motivating speech by (  ). His/her words were very well received by the students.

The last day of the Undergraduate Orientation programme 2017, ended with a musical evening at organized at PEC Market. With high hopes and exuberance, the college officially, inducted the incoming batch into the esteemed PEC society.
