Quotations

Quotation is hereby invited in respect of the articles mentioned below / as per list attached. The quotation should be sent direct to the undersigned in the sealed cover with wax / transparent fixing tape duly signed in ink underneath by post marked ‘Quotation’ and due dated on the top of envelope so as to reach this office on or before 3rd  March 2010.
            These will be opened on 8th March 2010 at 3.00 pm in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives who may care to be present by the committee members. The right of acceptance or rejecting any quotation without assigning any reason is reserved. Necessary literature of the articles may please be sent. Please quote for F.O.R Chandigarh / destination.

The general terms and condition are as follow:

  1. The supplier should be a manufacturer or authorized dealer who must have manufactured      and supplied the system/equipment specified in the technical specifications to reputed organization(s) /educational institution(s) in India. Please attach the list of the same.
  2. Address, contact person, Phone, Tele Fax/Email of offices in the region should be mentioned.
  3. The company should provide the warranty of the supplied equipment for 1-2 years.
  4. The validity of offer should be for at least 180 days after opening the bid.
  5. The bidder has to deposit the earnest money of Five Thousands Rupees in the      form of Draft in favor of Director, Punjab Engineering College (Deemed university) payable at Chandigarh. The earnest money of all the bidders except the successful bidder will be returned after the completion of the purchase process. The earnest money of the successful bidder will be returned after the expiry of the warranty period.
  6. The equipment has to be supplied and installed at Prod. Engg. Deptt. PEC, Chandigarh. Please quote for FOR PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh.
  7.  Payment will be made after satisfactory installation/demonstration of the equipment.
  8. The item(s) must be supplied within 6-8 weeks form the date of issue of purchase order.
  9. In case the supply of equipment is delayed a penalty @ 2% cost per month will be imposed after expiry of the delivery period.
  10. All the disputes related with the tender shall be restricted to jurisdiction of Chandigarh courts.

It may please be specified if the packing, insurance and sales tax / excise duty etc. will be inclusive or extra of the prices quoted. Please quote delivery period also. Samples where possible should be sent along with, materials should confirm to BSS / ISI specifications where applicable. Only best quality should be quoted.
